Loretta Johnson is a Boston Native with a background in jazz voice, music technology, music education, music therapy, and virtual education. After over twelve years of audio engineering and teaching music both in person and online, Loretta earned her music therapy certification to better serve those who are differently-abled. Additionally, she spent time researching and writing about racial trauma to bring an understanding of the Black Experience to the field of music therapy. She is currently working at Cortica, providing music therapy to children with neurodiversities and supervising two locations of MT-BC’s, OT’s, SLP’s, and PT’s in an interdisciplinary approach to care.
