Acerca del evento

Black service users within the U.S. face persistent health inequities. While social and economic barriers have been widely noted to contribute to the under-utilization of healthcare services, the role of Black Indigenous healing practices in sustaining health and whole-being have been less commonly discussed in healthcare settings. Join music therapist Justina Abah in conversation about the role of musical care within Black communities, Black service users' experiences navigating healthcare systems, and supports in accessing music therapy services.
